Job.com – Find Your New Job Here

Many folks are in a bad situation so they turn to any avenue they can find to get a job and save their families and/or themselves, and what better place to go than the Worldwide Web?  It’s easy and convenient, and with today’s technology job listing are right there at your fingertips.

However, as you look through the Internet to try landing a job, make sure you don’t get desperate and jump at any offer that immediately seems too good to be true; chances are, it is!

One of the most common online jobs scams out there today revolves around scammers placing ads in Craigslist.com or Backpage.com, or any other online classified site out there (there are hundreds).  They place want ads where they advertise a job such as “Immediate office clerk positions in your area” and they tell you to reply to them just so you can express interest and they can send you a pre-written form email that sounds warm and friendly, saying something like, “Hi, (your name)  thanks for your interest in the job openings.  There are currently many position available and there is only one last requirement this company needs; your credit report.  Then they provide you a link to a  credit report company which is actually an affiliate company which gives them a 50 -75% cut and they tell you they need for you to get it right away so you can be hired.

Just like that – boom!  You’re out 75-100 dollars, there really wasn’t any job, and the ads still keep coming to other unsuspecting job seekers.  I know; it’s absolutely horrible.

The way you can protect yourself on the Web is to only submit information to real and respected companies such as Job.com or Snagajob.com; these can actually help you get the job you want, and quick!

Stay away from those online jobs scams while you are in the process of looking for Mcdonalds applications by being practical and having common sense, and think things through before committing yourself to a good opportunity.
